Should you buy a gas or electric tool? I’ll talk about it with regards to a chainsaw, specifically the WORX 15 AMP corded electric 18″ chainsaw.
I’ve no affiliation with WORX.
PROS: Value purchase perfect for a weekend warrior homeowner, virtually no maintenance, always ready.
CONS: Oil filler cap placement

Cord on a chain saw……….maybe you can’t hear. Where is OSHA
I have a Honda generator I bought for when power goes out… I never have to use it. I recently kinda figured I could buy an electric saw and maybe even a splitter and plug it in to the generator if far away from home. That way I get some use from the generator and don’t leave it setting, not operating for so long. Nice review.
Buddy this was exactly the video that I needed, I needed a brief explanation of the product and the power strength of it which you showed ! Very well done
Figured this would have more comments. Nice saw. I didn’t think I would, but for a homeowner chain saw or even a lawn service or landscaper, I think electric is the way to go. Kick back is almost non existent with the low profile chain. I spent a little on a cordless and it’s hard to tell if it’s any faster than yours. At 100% efficiency you’re limited to about 2 real hp from a standard outlet. Did that saw come with a skip chain?
At least you have eye protection but get some chaps man save your legs
Nice video, thank you for posting it.
+ripcurl711711 thanks for the video, but did you/have you cut green wood, especially hardwood (such as oak)? That’d be telling. Looked like the logs you were cutting here were pithy softwoods. Thanks.
Where did you get round trees from mine are all ovle and odd shapes not round by any means and don’t roll.
